Photo ID checks

Ask a signer to prove who they are before the document opens. They photograph a passport, driving licence or national ID card; the check runs, and only a pass lets them through. The photograph goes to our verification partner and never to us, and the result is written into the audit trail with the signature.

One check is one attempt, because a document is read and charged for whether it passes or not. Anyone refused can try twice more. Hold as many packs as you need, and see on your billing page exactly who used what.

How seats and envelopes work.

You buy a seat for each person who sends. Every seat adds to one envelope allowance that the whole team shares, so a quiet seat's envelopes are there for a busy one.

Annual billing includes 100 envelopes per seat a year. Monthly billing includes 10 per seat a month. Five seats on annual billing share 500 envelopes a year.

Questions people ask before they start

Are the integrations really included?
Yes. The managed package, the send button, Flow actions and automatic filing of the signed PDF are all part of every paid plan, at the price shown on this page. There is no separate connector fee, no higher tier to reach for, and no minimum number of seats.
How much does SignSecure cost per user?
SignSecure is £12 per user per month billed annually, which is £144 per user a year, or £15 billed monthly. That price includes the API, every integration and an envelope allowance the whole team shares: 100 envelopes per seat a year on annual billing, or 10 per seat a month on monthly billing.
Is there a minimum number of users?
No. You can buy a single licence and add seats whenever your team changes shape, at the same per-user price. You can buy up to 50 seats online, and for more than 50 you can talk to us.
Who needs a seat?
Everyone who sends. Viewers, who can see envelopes but not send them, are free, and so are signers. Signers never need an account, and there is no limit on how many you add.
Can we add or remove seats later?
Yes, at any time. A seat you add is charged straight away, prorated for the rest of your billing period. A seat you remove is not refunded for the rest of the period, and you are billed for fewer seats from your renewal date.
What counts as an envelope?
An envelope is one send. Every document and every signer in that send count as one envelope, however many pages there are. Drafts are free: an envelope counts when it is sent, and voiding it afterwards does not give it back.
What happens if we go over our envelope allowance?
Sending never stops. Each envelope beyond your allowance costs £2.00, added to your next invoice and billed monthly in arrears. The allowance is shared across the account, so a busy sender draws on envelopes a quieter colleague has not used before anything extra is charged.
Do signers need an account?
No. Your signer opens the link from their email and signs in the browser they already have open. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for. You only buy seats for the people on your side who send.
Can I try it before paying?
Start on the free plan with no card, or take a Business trial to add your team and try every integration. You can send a real document to a real signer on either.
Are the signatures legally binding?
Every completed document is sealed, timestamped and carries a full audit trail, aligned with ESIGN and UETA in the United States and eIDAS in the European Union. There is more detail on the legality page.
What happens to my documents if I move to the free plan?
Everything you have already signed stays available to download, and anything filed to a CRM record stays on that record. Completed agreements belong to you.
